The owners were so nice and the atmosphere was chill away from the busy crowds on main st. Open on weekends and some holidays. Down to earth vibes with classics on the menu I LOVED the Chicago dog! They also sell little vintage items as well like vinyl records to mahjong sets to cowboy hats. They’re the kind of business I want to give my money to! If you want a quick bite, small place to lounge, and have some good music while you hang: GO THERE! :)

This place is amazing! I can’t say enough good things. The owners make you feel incredibly welcome and are very accommodating. They were one of the only places in Blowing Rock that stayed open during a winter storm and we’re thankful they did. The food is affordable and delicious! We will definitely be back.

This was the only restaurant open in Blowing Rock during a snow storm and they were amazing. Great hospitality, great attitudes and comfort food. This wonderful couple welcomed our family into their cafe and made us feel at home.

Fast and great food. Beef and vegan burgers are great! So are the chicken sandwichs. The fries are to die for!! Why wait an hour or hour 1/2 to pay too much for bar food?? Grab a quick bite here and meet the owners. They are very nice and work hard.

We had been looking for food the whole day on Christmas day, luckily we drove by and noticed they were opened, they had been busy the whole day, they were about to close and seemed exhausted but after hearing what we had been through they were able to make us some delicious hotdogs and grilled cheese. Very nice couple and went out of their way to help us get some food. We recommend this place to catch some quick food, they even connected their juke box so my daughter could listen to Elvis Presley record.

we have ever ate, the armadillo fries are out of this world. The couple who run the Cafe are so nice, they treat you like family.

My family and I live in Blowing Rock and have always said that we should give it a try. Well, shucks, we should have done it sooner. We were out on father's day and went on in. It was just a wonderful experience, we ate delicious food and had fantastic conversation with the owners. We had hands down the best French fries we have ever eaten. I highly recommend checking it out.

All the five star reviews are well-deserved and speak for themselves. I am more than happy to give this location another five star review. Following a miserable dining experience next door I stopped in for an espresso. Despite the fact the owner was working by himself that day I received immediate and friendly service. Great price for a great espresso, and I returned with my family the next day as the food the owner was preparing for other guests of the establishment looked great. We were not disappointed! Great menu selection, great service, great prices, and [most important] very clean. This is where I will be eating lunch the next time I am in the area and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Neighborhood gem! So thankful to find a no frills, food is food counter. Open early for breakfast on Sunday. Hot pressed English muffin cheese and egg breakfast sandwich.

My family and I ate here for lunch one day while visiting Blowing Rock. My kids are picky, and both of them asked for a second helping! My husband had a burger and said it was great. I had the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was hands down the best grilled chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Now I am on a mission to find the seasoning they use. Next time we are remotely close to Blowing Rock, we will be stopping by!

I’d give 10 stars if it was an option! Met the sweetest couple, Dean and his wife (owners) married 36+ years! Dean made my husband and I a hamburger and hotdog that was out this world! We stayed at least 30minutes after eating enjoying there company while browsing through records of the Beatles!! The cafe is definitely a place to stop in while I’m Blowing Rock! You will Enjoy

If you ever find yourself in the blowing rock area and are looking for a place that has that “welcome home” atmosphere, then this is the place for you. My girlfriend, Parker, my best friend, Jake, and myself, Hartley, were visiting blowing rock for a weekend and decided to stop here for breakfast on the way out. Upon entering we were greeted with amazing hospitality. What was originally planned as an in and out meal turned into an hour of vinyl shopping (there were boxes of vinyl records in the restaurant window), shoe shopping, (Parker bought a pair of cowgirl boots), and chatting with other visitors. I would like to take a moment to thank our amazing cook/host for grilling up one of the best hotdogs I have ever eaten. For only $5 too! Not to mention that we felt right at home as we ate our food, laughed, and shared stories with the cook/host. Unfortunately we were on a time crunch and had to get back on the road after about an hour, but had we had more time, I can confidently say we would have spent a good portion of the day there. To the owners, keep up the amazing service, and to future visitors, the only crime that you could commit in blowing rock is not paying this place a visit. It’s only been 3 days since we were here and I am already looking for openings in my calendar to figure out when we can return!

The spices of the hot dogs and burgers are still on my tongue. This is a nice hole in the wall that you must not miss out on! Friendly, kind service! Outside seats available! Inexpensive, but the highest quality ingredients! The spiral cut fries are a must have!

The Dino Burger and fries were AMAZING! Hands down probably the best burger I've ever tasted. Homemade, perfectly seasoned, and NOT just bland salt and pepper, I'm talking actually seasoned! The flavors exploded inside my mouth. Absolutely fantastic! I will definitely be back!

Some of the best food I've had in a while. You must try the fries and the burger was really tasty.I especially loved the homemade sauce.
